Stir Fried Pork with Red & Green Bell Pepper:
Chinese dishes come with lot of wonderful colors.
This is a colorful dish to add to the dinner table. You can
create you own mix of different vegetables with different color.
It is not necessary to stick to the recipe, one can change different
ingredient to suite ones taste. Let get started.
5 tbs of dice pork. (or chicken)
3 tbs diced green bell pepper.
1 tbs diced red chili or red bell pepper.
2 tbs cooking oil
5 tbs diced carrot.
5 tbs corn kernels.
1 tablespoon chop garlic
Salt to taste.
Dash of white pepper.
½ tsp Seame seed oil.
1/3 tsp Chinese cooking wine or dry sherry.
1/3 tsp cornstarch.
Pinch of salt.
1 tbs water.
Marinate the pork with marinates ingredients
for 5 minutes,set a side.
Blanch diced carrot in boiling water, drain well set a side.
Heat cooking oil in wok, stir fry chop garlic until fragrant.
Add dice pork cook until brown.
Stir in the remaining ingredients and carrot mix well, stir
remove from heat and serve.
Blanching of dice carrot is to cut down cooking
time, otherwise other ingredient will be over cook.
If blanching is not possible, stir fry the carrot first than
the pork follow by the rest in the above method.
The cornstarch in the marinate ingredient is to make the meat
taste smoother in texture.
